Two Tom Fazio designs sit on the island: the Links and the Harbour Course, with fairways running out toward the marsh and the Atlantic. Our Wednesday tournament plays one of them.

Take your pick: the Grand Pavilion pool deck, a family pool with a slide, or the lazy river over at the Village.

Breakfast is covered as part of the week. For lunch, or for the evening you’re on your own, there’s Coastal Provisions, the Grand Pavilion bar and Huey’s right on the beach — or head into Charleston and explore.

A full racquet club with clay and hard courts, bike rentals at the Village, and a marina on the Intracoastal Waterway where the resort can help you get out on the water.

Figure roughly six and a half hours from Richmond, seven from Northern Virginia, five and a half from Hampton Roads, and five from Roanoke — I-95 to I-26, then the Isle of Palms Connector.

Self-parking and valet are both on site when you get here.

Charleston International is only 35 minutes away, with direct service from Richmond, Washington and Charlotte. From the airport, rideshare, taxi and private car service are all available to the resort.
