Since Aug. 1, dealers have been responsible for completing the required background checks for initial salesperson licenses through a Dealer Board-approved vendor.
As of Sept. 9, six vendors have been approved. While the Dealer Board considers others, which dealers have recommended and VADA has passed along, be sure to use one of the six already permitted. The Dealer Board staff is reviewing those providers.
