complyauto safety

Dealerships required to electronically file 2024 employee workplace injury and illness records must submit them to OSHA by March 2, 2025, using the Injury Tracking Application (ITA).

Who Needs To File

OSHA defines establishment as "a single location where business is conducted or where services or industrial operations are performed."

Electronic filing must be done using OSHA's Injury Tracking Application (ITA). See OSHA's FAQs on the ITA submission process.

The following categories of dealerships must record and report employee workplace injury and illness:

  • Establishments with 250 or more employees: electronically submit OSHA Form 300A.
  • Establishments with 20-249 employees: electronically submit OSHA Form 300A.
  • Establishments with 100 or more employees: electronically submit OSHA Forms 300, 300A, and 301.
  • Establishments with fewer than 20 employees at all times during the year do not have to routinely submit information electronically to OSHA.
